The environment which is created by nature comprises of land, water, air, plants and animals are known as natural environment.

(iii) Which are the major components of the environment?

Man adapts his environment to make his life more comfortable and natural.

(ii) Plants and animals depend on each other.

Solution

Plants and animals depend on each other for their sustainability. Animals consume plants for their living and also takes oxygen from them, so few carnivorous animals inturn eat other animals. Plants are dependent on animals as they give out carbon dioxide which is important for photosynthesis, and dead remains of animals provide nutrients to the plants.
